Andy Simpson

Director of the Sandage Center for the Study of Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Graceland University

Simpson graduated from Graceland University with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. After graduation he worked for the management consultancy, Accenture. Simpson’s consulting experience focused on technical and business processes in the telecommunications industry. He returned to his alma mater and worked with the SIFE Team in the Center for Free Enterprise and in the Leadership Department on campus, teaching Leadership and Intro to Business courses. Under his leadership as the Associate Director and now the Director of the Sandage Center, the Graceland SIFE Team won the 2006 SIFE National Championship and placed 2nd at the 2006 SIFE World Cup in Paris. Simpson is the Graceland University representative on the Lamoni Development Corporation and the Decatur County Development Corporation.

Jeff McElroy

Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Sandage Center for the Study of Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship

McElroy grew up in Lamoni, graduated from Graceland University with a double major in Business Administration & Economics and earned an MBA from Drake University. He has worked in the business world for several years as a manager for The Maytag Company, Dexter and Pella Corporation in the Marketing/Customer Service and Training areas. In 2008, Jeff returned to Graceland as an Assistant Professor of Business Administration for the C.H. Sandage School of Business to incorporate his “real world” experiences into the classroom in marketing, entrepreneurship and operations courses.
