Doug Mitchell Biography

Doug Mitchell is a native Southern Californian and tech startup veteran. Doug came to Iowa 3 years ago as a remote worker for his 3rd start up...but decided he was no longer employable…and fired his boss.

Seeking less travel and more rewarding work, Doug formed his own company and began building a business leveraging technology to deliver consulting services remotely via a membership based website. After 8 months and few customers, a minor course correction turned that business into createWOWmedia and the floodgates opened.

Today, createWOWmedia helps small and medium sized companies become more findable and engaging on the web through multimedia and clear web strategy.
