Grant Writing

The grant writing project was formed in the fall semester of 2007. Our SIFE team is continually looking for funding to support our new and existing projects. The project was created to meet this need in a productive and fulfilling way. The team searches for relevant grants whether the government or private groups offer them. Also, the various teams within SIFE will find and direct grants to this project. The grant writing team researches and writes these grants to help fund and sustain our SIFE team and its activities. The project helps students improve their writing skills and gain invaluable experience regarding the format and submission of grant proposals. The project is in its infancy and as a result only one grant has been written to date.
