Small Business Consulting
This team has many different subsidiaries that have the common goal of helping business minded people help themselves. Projects within this team range from helping women in South Texas to start a small clothing retail store to helping business owner’s right here in Lamoni. Our team is looking forward to helping the community through whatever means we have available to us. The group will also help awaken the entrepreneurial spirit right here on campus by promoting Angel Capital Loans and business plan writing. We successfully held a business fair last semester where local businesses came and gave samples and coupons to students. The small business team has several different focal points for this semester. We are going to be planning another Chamber Business Fair which we are hoping will take place in late March. We are currently working on the Chamber booklet and are also very fortunate to be heading up the Business Plan Competition that will award $15,000 this summer. We are a very active team staying true to our original purpose of bridging the gap between the Graceland campus and the Lamoni business community.
